Structure Fire Extinguished Northeast Of Sioux Center On Christmas Eve Day

Sioux Center, Iowa — At approximately 11:40 on Sunday morning, the Sioux Center Fire Department was alerted about a structure fire northeast of Sioux Center. The fire, at 3220 370th Street, was about a mile and a half northeast across the section from the Ver Hoef Automotive corner.

Sioux Center Fire Chief Dave Van Holland described the scene.

No injuries were reported and the department was able to eliminate most of the fire.

Van Holland says The Sioux Center Fire Department received assistance from other area fire departments.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and is under investigation, according to Van Holland.
