Sutherland, Iowa — The City of Sutherland has issued a boil water advisory. City officials say there was a leak in the system in the vacant nursing home building. The water tower has drained, and they are on system pressure only. Due to the low pressure, until further notice, Sutherland tap water should not be used for drinking or cooking unless it is boiled first.
