Talk of the Town Podcast for April 10th

Today’s Talk of the Town podcast features our guests, Alyssa Hoogestraat and Meg Lapka of the West Lyon Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, along with their teacher, Kristen Rockhill, talking about the FCCLA Distracted Driving Project that brought them top honors in the state of Iowa, qualifying them to compete in Washington D.C. this summer.

The West Lyon FCCLA project is part of FACTS, a national FCCLA peer education program through which students strive to save lives through personal, vehicle, and road safety. The West Lyon FCCLA group will travel to Washington July 6th through 10th to present their project in competition at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference.
