Temperatures To Cool Back Down

Iowa (RI) — It looks like we can say goodbye to the unseasonably warm temperatures through the rest of this week. National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Ansorge says things will feel a lot better.

It’s not going to be a major cool down, but it will feel better than the highs we’ve seen in the 90’s.

Less of the state will be getting additional rain.

That precip will probably hit northwest Iowa in the early hours of Friday. The Sheldon forecast calls for the chance to start after midnight early Friday morning, and for it to be done by 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

The lack of additional rain should help with the humidity.
