Sheldon, Iowa — There’s a unique new fundraiser coming up in Sheldon next month, to benefit the Northwest Iowa Community College Thunder Soccer Teams. We recently talked to NCC Athletic Director Eric Francis and Thunder Head Soccer Coach Tre Thomas about the fundraiser.
Francis says running collegiate soccer teams isn’t cheap.
Also, there are uniforms and safety equipment to keep in mind. So, he says they decided to do a fundraiser, and decided on a trivia night and a silent auction. He gives us the details.
Again, the NCC Soccer Fundraiser will be in the form of a team trivia contest and silent auction on Thursday evening, October 9th, at Breu Haus in Sheldon, beginning at 5:30 pm with a meal and the silent auction, with the trivia contest to follow.
