West Lyon Construction Project Nears Completion

Inwood, Iowa — The largest construction project since the district was formed and their building was built in the 1960s is now wrapping up at the West Lyon School between Larchwood and Inwood on Highway 182.

Superintendent Shawn Kreman tells us how things have been going.

He says the auditorium is the last part of the building to be completed for this construction project, which makes the news even more exciting. He says they hope to have a dedication ceremony in December.

He tells us about what’s already finished.

The bond issue was for $19.8 million of the total $32 million project cost.
