Donna Ann DeBoer was born November 5, 1941 in George, Iowa, the daughter of Henry H. and Lavonne (Ubbinga) Dietz. She grew up northwest of George and graduated from George High School in 1959.
She was united in marriage on August 4, 1961 to Eugene DeBoer at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George, IA. Together they lived most of their life on the family farm, milking cows and raising sheep, hogs and dogs. Donna also operated Donna’s Ceramic Gifts for several years.
