Arvin E. DeBerg age 82, of Belding, MI passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family while under Care Team Hospice.
A Celebration of his Life will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 at the Greenville Community Church.

Arvin was born May 27, 1938 in George, Iowa, the son of John & Etta (Janssen) DeBerg. He was a member of the Saranac American Legion Post #175, served in the US Army and had retired from Brunswick Corporation.
Arvin is survived by his wife Geraldine, children Brian (Dianne) DeBerg of Sheridan, Timothy (Amy) DeBerg of Gowen and Bonnie (Paul) Petersen of Sheridan; three grandchildren Zachery Petersen, Trevor Petersen and Tori (Joey) Carey; two great grandsons Emmett DeBerg and Jonathan Carey; sister-in-law Leona Kruger of George, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Tad DeBerg; and his brothers Don (Leona) Kruger, Bud Kruger, Ira Kruger, Mearl Kruger, Francis Kruger, and sisters Hazel Grotluschen, Elva Steenhoven, and Katie Petersen. Arvin thought very highly of his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a fun loving guy who liked to joke around or play pranks on people. He also loved to watch his westerns and wrestling.
