Bernard “Bernie” J. Van Oort, 80, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Floyd Valley Hospital surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Le Mars United Methodist Church in Le Mars, Iowa with Pastor John Battern officiating. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Le Mars at a later date. Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will continue Thursday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
