Bradley Keith Goodsell, 62, formerly of Sheldon, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at home in Des Moines, IA. Per Brad’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date.

Brad was born March 25, 1959, in Charles City, Iowa, to Russell and Barbara (Bonsall) Goodsell. He graduated from Sheldon High School in 1977 and later attended NCC. Brad served in the US Air Force and the Iowa National Guard. He worked in maintenance for the VA of Central Iowa Health Care System for several years.
Brad was a member of ABATE of Iowa, District 7. He considered the members of ABATE as members of his family and looked forward to spending time with them.
Brad is survived by his mother, Barbara (Dean Frame) Goodsell of Des Moines, his father, Russell (Linda) Goodsell of Carlisle, son, Dustin Rodger of George, IA; his sister, Nicole Adams of Diamond Head Lake, IA, his lifelong friend, Jim De Kruif, and his faithful companion dog, Brim.
