Mrs. Johanna Vermeer, age 85, of Sheldon, formerly of Boyden, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars.
There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, September 28, at 10:30 am, at the First Reformed Church in Boyden. The Rev. David Poppen will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Sheridan Township Cemetery near Boyden. Visitation will be after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
