Matthew “Matt” Helmers, age 54 of Melvin, Passed away at Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley on Saturday, April 4th.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Melvin. Visitation will also be held at the United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 9th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; family will be present 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at Baker Township Cemetery near Melvin. The Sanborn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for 54 year-old Matt Helmers of Melvin.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please direct all memorials to the family to be used for a Melvin City Park bench in Matt’s honor.
