Michael Wallace Trigg, age 61 of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, Iowa.
His service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon with Pastor Jesse Walhof officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation with the family present will be from 9:30 until the time of service at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon, which is in charge of the arrangements for Michael Trigg.

Michael Wallace Trigg, the son of Larry and Margo (Brinkman) Trigg was born February 4, 1962 in Bellflower, California. He moved to Doon, Iowa with his parents and attended Central Lyon Community School. On February 14, 2000, he was united in marriage to Julie Schwarz in Las Vegas, Nevada and they made their home in Sheldon, where Mike had worked for with his dad trucking, Joe’s Ready Mix, Den Hartog Industries in Hospers, DK Plastics, the Alcohol Plant in Hospers and currently he was working at the Sheldon Eagles Club as maintenance and custodial. Mike passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, Iowa reaching the age of 61 years, 3 months and 15 days.
Mike attended the Living Water Community Church in Sheldon. He was a member of the Sheldon Eagles Club of Sheldon, Iowa. He enjoyed catfishing on the river, cooking, tinkering in the garage, helping anyone that needed help and he truly loved his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Julie of Sheldon; a son, Shawn Trigg and his friend, Chassity of Sioux Fall, South Dakota and daughter, Burgundy Maldando of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 great-great nieces, his mother, Margo Trigg of Doon, Iowa; 2 sisters, Carri Trigg of Mason City, Iowa and Suzann Trigg of Doon, Iowa and nieces, Lashel Trigg, Jennie Trigg and Heather Haynes and a nephew, Tim Trigg and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, a brother, Nick Trigg, two nephews, Chris and Mike and his grandparents.
