Mrs. LaVonne Hofmeyer, age 90, of Orange City, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 3, at 2:00 pm, at the Newkirk Reformed Church in rural Hospers. The Rev. David Powers and the Rev. Dr. Tom Smith will officiate. Interment will be prior to the service at the Newkirk Cemetery. There will be a family prayer service on Saturday, at 1:15 pm, at the church.
Visitation will be after 4:00 pm on Friday, with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City, which is in charge of the arrangements for 90-year old LaVonne Hofmeyer of Orange City.
