Richard James Mulder, age 73, of Shirley, Arkansas, formerly of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away December 20, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on January 10, 2020 in the Peace Lutheran Church in Edgemont, Arkansas with Pastor Kara Shaw officiating.
Services in Sheldon, Iowa are tentatively scheduled for May, 2020
Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home.
Richard was a loving son, brother, uncle and husband. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Born on November 10, 1946 in Sheldon, Iowa, he was the son of the late James and Sylvia Haraldson Mulder.
He is survived by his wife Karen Mulder, his sister Lana Peterson and her husband Jeff, his nephews Troy Peterson, Justin Peterson, Zachary Herr and his wife Brittany, Christopher Fausbender and his wife Kirsten and Shawn Fausbender and his wife Kristen, his nieces Tonya Hagenow and her husband Corey, and Heather Scheiding, his brother-in-law John Fausbender and his wife Mary, and his sister-in-law Mary Herr. Mr. Mulder is also survived by his several great-nieces and nephews as well as his other relatives and many friends.
