Wanda J. Johannes, age 79 of Frederic, Wisconsin and Green Valley, Arizona, formerly of Sibley, Iowa, passed away on January 22, 2020.
Funeral Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at the Sheldon Crossroads Pavilion with Luncheon to follow at 4:30 pm.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ashton, Iowa at 3:30 pm.

Wanda was born Sibley, Iowa on October 12, 1940 to parents Glenn and Iva (Schroder) Krahling. In 1958 she married Donald E. Johannes and had two children who were joined to Our Lord Jesus Christ as babies, Donald Jr. and Steven.
They moved to Minneapolis in 1960 where two other children were born – Tyron and Gale. Don & Wanda’s family moved to Linwood, MN in 1972 where they established Don’s Superette Grocery Store on Martin Lake. In 1978, their family moved to Stacy, MN where Wanda was a Bank Manager for 15 years. In 2009 Don and Wanda retired to Wisconsin. They enjoyed their retirement and spending time with their grandchildren and their summers living on the lake fishing and boating while wintering in Arizona.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Donald, brother Dennis Krahling, and parents Glenn and Iva.
She is survived by children Tyron (Julie) Johannes and Gale Wilson; grandchildren Skyler Wickland (step), Dakota, and Reese Johannes, and Jonathon, Jade, and Teagan Wilson; great grandson Asher Johannes; sister Paula (John) Maxwell; sister-in-law Marvella Krahling; and many other relatives and friends.
