Sioux City, Iowa – A former Boyden-Hull boys’ golf standout has earned Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Golfer-of-the-Week honors as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, September 24th.
Trey Van Roekel of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Van Roekel, a sophomore from Boyden, led the way for the Raiders with a top-15 individual finish in a field of national contenders at the Northwest Iowa Invitational, posting the best round of his career and of the Raiders’ season (67; -4).
He made it through the third round at -4 with no bogeys.
