Sioux City, Iowa – A Northwestern College Red Raider has been named as a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball Player-of-the-Week as announcd by the GPAC Wednesday, February 11th.
Northwestern College first baseman Grant Guidry is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Guidry, a sophomore from Yantis, Texas, led the Raider offense with an .818 average, three home runs, and nine RBIs in Northwestern’s series win at McPherson.
In Saturday’s 19-6 win, Guidry tied the school’s single-game record with seven RBIs on a 4-for-5 outing, hitting two home runs.
