Sioux City, Iowa – A Northwestern College Red Raider has been named as a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Football Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Monday, October 20th.
Defensive Back Jordan Carter of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Carter, a freshman from St, Louis, Missouri, had a pair of interceptions on the day. He scored on a pick-six and intercepted a ball in the end zone, securing Northwestern’s 14-13 win over No. 4 Morningside.
He now has two interception returns for touchdowns on the year. The Raiders have the week off before traveling to Midland on November 1.
