Sioux City, Iowa – A Northwestern College Red Raider has been named as a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, January 20th.
Jalen Langsy of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Langsy, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota, scored 41 and 30 points in two wins last week, averaging 35.5 points on 65.9 percent shooting.
He made 11 total threes at a 61.1 percent clip and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the line. Langsy is currently second in the NAIA in points per game at 27.6.
