Adams Earns Men’s GPAC Track Honor

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men’s outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held April 15-21, 2019. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-2019 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week

Track Events – Justus Adams, Northwestern College

Northwestern’s Justus Adams is this week’s track athlete-of-the-week. Adams, a freshman from Canton, South Dakota, won a pair of events at the Red Raider Open last weekend. Adams won the 110m hurdles and met the NAIA auto mark with the top time (14.66) in the GPAC. He currently is ranked 13th in the NAIA. He then ran the second leg of the winning 4×100 relay that posted the top time in the GPAC and just missed the provisional mark, ranked 21st in the NAIA at this time. Adams also finished second in the 4×400 and sixth in the 400m hurdles.
