Statewide, Iowa – The All-State Volleyball Teams were released Tuesday, November 18th, by the Iowa Girls’ Coaches’ Association and a local athlete was named as Player-of-the-Year in the state of Iowa.
Bailey Boeve of Hinton was named as the Player-of-the-Year. The senior finished the 2025 campaign with 419 kills on a .435 kill efficiency, 209 digs, 40 total blocks (eight of which were solos) and 35 ace serves in leading the Blackhawks to a state runner-up finish in Class 1A.
Boeve was also named as an Elite All-State Player.
Named to the Class 4A All-State First Team were Courteney Schmidt a senior from Sioux Center and Bre Van Den Top a senior from Sergeant Bluff-Luton.
Named to the Class 4A All-State Second Team was Maryn Franken a junior from Sioux Center.
Named to the Class 4A All-State Third Team were Bailey Ball a junior from Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Brielle Hoegh a sophomore from MOC-Floyd Valley and Ireland Jackson a senior from Bishop Heelan.
Julie Oldenkamp of Sioux Center was named as the All-State Coach-of-the-Year in Class 4A.
Named to the Class 3A All-State Volleyball First Team were Scarlett Winterfeld a senior from Western Christian and Maggie Van Schepen a senior from Western Christian.
Named to the Class 3A All-State Volleyball Second Team were Morgan Kooiman a sophomore from Western Christian, Jaida Barrow a senior from Unity Christian and Diedra Doeden a junior from Cherokee.
Named the Class 3A All-State Volleyball Fourth Team was Addy Wolfswinkel a junior from Cherokee.
Named to the Class 2A All-State Volleyball First Team were Boeve and Karlyn Kovarna a senior from Hinton.
Named to the Class 2A All-State Volleyball Third Team were Katie Hoefling a senior from Hinton and Rachel Schany a senior from Emmetsburg.
Named to the Class 2A All-State Volleyball Fourth Team were Hayden Berkland a senior from Alta Aurelia, Brenna Johnson a senior from Westwood and Calista Joyce a senior from Emmetsburg.
Named to the Class 1A All-State Third Team was Elsie Hoegh a junior from Boyden-Hull.
