Anderson Signs With Northwestern

Kaylee Anderson has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Anderson is a multi-sports standout who is in her fourth year playing for the Boyden-Hull High School basketball team. Anderson is currently averaging a team-leading 11.5 points and five rebounds while shooting 45% from the field and 73% from the free throw line. She was a third team all-conference selection last year as a junior when she averaged 12 points, six rebounds and totaled 15 blocked shots. Also an all-conference player in volleyball, Anderson is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in pre-medicine at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Chris and Kara Van Meeteren and Dan Anderson.

“We are excited that Kaylee has decided to be a Red Raider and to be part of our women’s basketball program,” commented head Northwestern women’s basketball coach Chris Yaw. “She is a young lady with great character and will be a tremendous addition to our campus community as well. Kaylee has played well in the post for both her summer team and for Boyden-Hull. She is an aggressive rebounder who is able to score around the basket and we welcome Kaylee and her family to Northwestern College.”
