Sioux City, Iowa – A Dordt University men’s basketball player has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the league office Wednesday, Dec. 11th.
Ben Fairclough of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Fairclough, a senior from Perth, Austrailia, averaged four blocked shots per game with 6.5 defensive rebounds per contest in a pair of wins. He currently leads the conference in blocks per game with 2.3 and ranks fourth in the NAIA.
