Boyden Hull Boys State Golf Champs MOC Floyd Valley Second On A Tie Breaker

The Boyden-Hull Comets boys golf team won their second straight IHSAA Class 1A Boys Team Title, finishing the tournament with a team score of 42-over-par at South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo.

Jackson Keizer led Boyden Hull with a 2 day total of three-over-par to finish third individually. Carter Kleinwolterink ended five strokes behind Keizer in a tie for sixth-place.

Akron-Westfield eight with Woodbury Central ninth in the team standings.

In Class 3A MOC-Floyd Valley ended the tournament Wednesday in a tie for first place with Waverly-Shell Rock. The Dutch came out on the wrong end of a tiebreaker to finish second. In the individual standings Carson Korver led MOC-FV with at total score of 1-under-par, ending the tournament in a tie for fourth place.

The Spencer Tigers placed in eighth in the team totals. The 3A tournament was held at Pheasant Ridge in Cedar Falls
