Briar Cliff Volleyball Signs Tucker

Sioux City, Iowa — Briar Cliff women’s volleyball head coach Lindsey Weatherford has announced the signing of Kailee Tucker to the 2020 women’s volleyball squad. Tucker is a native of Akron, Iowa and is a senior at Akron-Westfield High School.

“Kailee is such a versatile athlete and very skilled volleyball player at so many positions she will be a tremendous help to our front row,” said Weatherford. “Beyond that her extra-curricular interests have rounded her into the type of teammate that every competitive team needs, on and off the court. We are lucky Kailee chose BCU!”

Tucker has earned volleyball all-conference and all-district honors in the War Eagle conference the past two years for the Westerners. She has lettered in volleyball all four years of high school, received War Eagle Conference Academic award recognition and was a team captain for the Westerners her senior season. Outside of volleyball she has participated at state competitions for dance, track, softball.

Tucker is involved also in speech, choir, school musicals, Lakeside Lab, dance and is a member of the National Honor Society. Kailee will also participate in Choir with the Briar Cliff Music Department.

Tucker is the daughter of Cory and Theresa Tucker and has one brother.
