Central Lyon’s Marken Signs With Viterbo Track

Dominic Marken, a senior sprinter/jumper from Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, Iowa, announced Tuesday that he has accepted a scholarship offer and committed to the Viterbo University Track and Field Program.

Dom is a 3 year letterwinner and a 2019 Iowa State Track Meet participant, anchoring both the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relay teams in Des Moines. He has been a part of the Lions success on the track throughout his high school career, being a member of 2 district championship teams. He is also a key member of the jumps group for CL, as both a high jumper and long jumper. Dom, who also participates in basketball at Central Lyon, is expected to be a key member of a Central Lyon squad going after their 6th straight District Title this spring.

Viterbo University is a NAIA member who participates in the North Star Athletic Association and is located in La Crosse Wisconsin.
