The State high school baseball tournament begins Monday morning in Carroll with the quarterfinal round in class 1A.
In the opener, 10th ranked Kingsley-Pierson will try to slow down the running game of sixth rated North Linn. The Lynx have swiped 219 bases in posting a 21-2 record.
That’s Kingsley-Pierson coach Taylor Doeschot who says it starts with limiting baserunners.
Doeschot hopes experience is a plus for the Panthers.
