Orlando, Florida — Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei says his injured knee is improving and he will be ready for Wednesday’s Cheez-It Bowl against Iowa State.
Uiagalelei suffered a sprained knee in early November and led the Tigers to a 9-3 record.
Uigalelei says he has confidence in new offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter. He is the new play caller after Tony Elliott became the head coach at Virginia.
He says he feels confident in the offense even with the change in coordinators.
