Kassidy De Jong and Darbi Gustafson were named to the all-tournament team at the 2019 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament as announced by the national office.
A total of 10 players were recognized among the 32 teams at the 2019 event, five on both the first and second teams, as voted upon by the championship committee.
De Jong was named to the first team after leading the Red Raiders in scoring, averaging 21.8 points per game. The senior shot 52% from the field, 50% (10/20) from the arc, and pulled down 6.8 rebounds per contest. De Jong scored in double figures in all four games at the championship.
Gustafson, also a senior, was named to the second team. Gustafson averaged 10.5 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49% from the field in the four games at the D-II Championship.
