Jeffrey De Kam, a senior at Western Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.
De Kam, a 6-0, 175 pound goalkeeper, allowed 16 goals last season –a 1.30 goals allowed per game average and had 81 saves. As a sophomore De Kam had 186 saves and helped the Wolfpack to a substate berth in post-season play.
“Jeffrey is an athletic player with potential. We are pleased to have him at Dordt and are thankful for continuing the local pipeline to Western,” said Dordt men’s soccer coach Ryan Gresse.
Jeffrey is the son of James and Alisa De Kam of Doon, Iowa. He plans to study Engineering at Dordt.
