Sioux Center, Iowa — Josie Byl, a senior at Unity Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender soccer program.
“We are excited to welcome Josie to the soccer program. Josie has phenomenal work ethic and tenacious on defense. She works hard on the field and we look to having her competitive nature in our program come August,” said Dordt soccer coach Alex Durbin.
Byl earned all-conference honorable mention honors as a sophomore and has played midfielder at Unity.
“I chose Dordt because of its great Christian atmosphere and its strong community,” said Byl.
Josie is the daughter of Henry and Karla Byl of Sioux Center, Iowa. She’s undecided on her field of study.
