Dordt Baseball Falls To #1 Southeastern

Lakeland, Florida — Dordt lost a 25-4 decision to number one rated Southeastern on Wednesday night as the Defenders’ Florida trip continues.

The Fire scored five in the first and Dordt answered with three in the second but after that it was all Southeastern. Dordt got the three runs with Aaron Eshelman walking with the bases loaded and Austin Pullar singled in Lucas Nelson and Andrew Pullar.

Southeastern scored the next 16 runs before Dordt’s Connor Hommes plated Logan Cline with a single.

Southeastern had an 18-6 hits advantage. Aaron Eshelman had a single and a double with a run batted in.

Pullar, Chase Edwards, John Emerson and Hommes all had singles.

Dordt is now 7-8 and will face Thomas (Georgia) in a doubleheader on Thursday.
