For the second time in program history the Dordt football team has qualified for the NAIA National Championship Series and will host a first-round game in the field of 20 teams on Saturday, November 18.
Dordt earned an at-large berth into the field and will host Ottawa (Kansas) at 12:00pm at Open Space Park in Sioux Center, Iowa.
The Ottawa Braves finished the regular season with a 6-5 overall record and won the Bissell Division of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 4-1 record to earn an automatic berth into the field.
Dordt qualified for the field during the split season of 2020-21 and posted its sixth straight season of seven wins over more this year while earning a tie for second place in the league.
