Jamestown, ND — Dordt will travel to Jamestown on Saturday, February 19 to face the Jimmies at 3:45 pm.
The Jimmies are 22-7 this season and 12-7 in the GPAC and had a five game winning streak stopped on February 12 in Sioux City against Briar Cliff.
The Defenders are 19-9 this season and 11-8 in the league and are 2-2 in their last four games and 6-2 in their last eight. The Defenders were nipped by Northwestern in their most recent contest on February 16, 80-78 in Orange City.
The Defenders are outscoring teams 81-73 and outrebound teams 36-34. Dordt converts 49.4 percent of its field goals and allow 44.1 percent success and are making 37 percent of their three-point shots.
Bryce Coppock scores 19.1 points per game with 4.3 rebounds and he hands out 2.3 assists per game with 1.0 steals. Jacob Vis adds 15.5 points per game and makes 56.6 percent of his field goals and he has an 8.0 rebounds per game average. Cade Bleeker adds 13.3 points per game and has a team best 64 made three-point shots and is converting 43 percent of his long shots. Luke Rankin is good for 10.8 points per game and hands out a team best 4.6 assists per game. Jackson Louscher contributes 8.3 points per game and Camden Bialas is at 6.1.
Both Dordt and Jamestown will advance to the GPAC Tournament beginning on Wednesday night, February 23. The bracket for the eight-team field will be announced late Saturday night.
