Dordt Men’s Track And Field #2 In Latest Ratings

Sioux Center, Iowa – The fourth 2021 NAIA Men’s Indoor Track & Field National TFRI (Track & Field Rating Index) has been released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA). The Dordt men’s team is 2nd in the rating for the second week in a row.

The Defenders held on to their spot and were bolstered by Payton Mauldin’s 48.71 in the 400 meters which puts him no. 8 nationally in the NAIA. Mauldin and Matthew Van Eps both lead the way in the 600 and 800 in the NAIA and Dordt’s distance medley relay team leads the country with a time of 7:44.56.

The Defenders will host the GPAC Championship is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 20-21 in Sioux Center.
