Dordt football coach Joel Penner says after the loss of spring practice and the late start for preseason drills any added practice time is needed.
After opening with a win at Midland of Nebraska on September 12 the Defenders return to action Saturday at Dakota Wesleyan.
Penner says playing through a pandemic has its challenges but he is confident the can get the season played.
Penner says the players appreciate the chance to play.
