Dordt Volleyball Concludes Regular Season Tuesday

Sioux City, Iowa — The Dordt Defenders travel to Briar Cliff on Tuesday, November 2 with the junior varsity contest at 6:00 and the varsity at 7:30. It will be the regular season finale for both teams.

Briar Cliff is 10-18 this season and 3-12 in league play. The Chargers average 10.5 kills per set and allow 12.3 and are also at a 167-134 ace serves disadvantage for the season.

Chloe Johnson and Abbie Ericson average 2.4 and 2.1 digs per set and Toria Andre has a 1.8 kills per set average. Maureen Imrie and Madilyn Wagman average 4.4 and 4.06 assists per set and Tannah Heath gets 3.42 digs per outing.

The Dordt Defenders will take a 16-8 mark into the match and stand 8-7 in league play.

Dordt is averaging 12.4 kills per set with a .198 kill efficiency and Dordt has a 122-97 ace serves advantage. Dordt also gets 2.42 points per set on blocks while teams get 1.7 blocks and 12.26 kills per set against the Defenders.

Corrina Timmermans has a 3.47 kills per set average with 2.33 digs and she has 33 service aces. Jessi Franken and Alli Timmermans have 2.57 and 2.48 kills per set averages and Grace Langemeier has lifted her average to 1.6. Megan Raszler and Campbell Marshall have 6.4 and 4.4 assists per set and Erica Bousema’s dig average is 5.5.
