Dordt will play a GPAC match on Saturday, September 19 against Briar Cliff. The match was originally scheduled for October but has been moved to Saturday.
The junior varsity match starts at 12:00 pm and the varsity match gets underway at 1:30.
Briar Cliff is 4-3 this season and lost a pair of GPAC matches to Dakota Wesleyan and Morningside. The Chargers started the season with four wins in a row before losing to Morningside on September 9.
The Chargers have averaged 11.43 kills per set and get 1.73 service aces per contest. Briar Cliff also averages 2.23 blocks per contest.
The Defenders are 3-0 after a win over Morningside one week ago on Saturday, September 12.
Karsyn Winterfeld has a 2.9 kills per set average with 3.0 digs per outing. Jessi De Jager puts in 2.6 kills per outing and has a .444 kill efficiency. Brenna Krommendyk is at 2.4 kills per set and Allison Timmermans and Corrina Timmermans get 2.0 and 2.2 kills per contest. Hannah Connelly leads the team with 4.2 digs and Corrina Timmermans is at 2.4. Megan Raszler and Corina Beimers are at 6.3 and 4.3 assists per set. Dordt averages 12.9 kills per set with a .268 kill efficiency while getting 3.5 points per set on blocks. Dordt also has a 1.3 service ace per set average.
Dordt is scheduled to travel to Mitchell, South Dakota to face Dakota Wesleyan at the Corn Palace on Wednesday, September 23.
