The Dordt Defender women’s basketball team has earned an at-large berth in the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa to be held March 11-17.
The Defenders earned the no. 3 seed in the Duer Quadrant of the 32-team bracket. Dordt will face Reinhardt (Georgia) in the first round of the tournament on Thursday, March 12 at 1:45 PM. The winner will advance to the Round of 16 on Friday, March 13 at 5:15 PM.
This is the second straight season Dordt has qualified for the National Championship event. Dordt advanced to the GPAC Postseason Tournament semifinals and have a 24-8 overall record. The Defenders finished fourth in the GPAC regular season standings with a 15-7 record.
