(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played October 18-24, 2021. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-2022 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Defender – Erica Bousema, Dordt University (Defensive Specialist)
Erica Bousema of Dakota Wesleyan is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Bousema, a senior from Sheldon, Iowa, averaged 6.1 digs per set as Dordt defeated Hastings and Doane on the road. She had 49 digs overall and a pair of service aces for the 16th-ranked Defenders.
