(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played April 4-10, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-22 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Pitcher – Abby Kraemer, Dordt University
Abby Kraemer of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Kraemer, a junior from Alta, Iowa, had three complete game wins and secured three wins in relief. In all she struck out 38 batters in 30 innings and posted a 1.40 earned run average to guide the Defenders to a perfect week going 6-0. Since March 7 she a hasn’t lost a decision and has a record of 11-0.
