(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played September 6-12, 2021. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-2022 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Attacker – Corrina Timmermans, Dordt University (Outside)
Dordt’s Corrina Timmermans is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Timmermans, a junior, from Orange City, Iowa, averaged four kills per set with 2.2 digs as the Defenders posted a 4-1 record this week. She also added 12 ace serves combined in a pair of sweeps on Saturday against Michigan-Dearborn and Rocky Mountain. On the week she also pitched in with 11 blocks.
