Drake coach Todd Stepsis says the Bulldogs hope to bounce back from a disappointing effort Saturday night when they host defending NAIA champion Northwestern College.
Drake opened with a 55-7 loss at 15th ranked North Dakota. After trailing 14-0 at halftime the game unraveled in the second half.
North Dakota piled up 652 yards of offense in that game, including 288 on the ground.
Defending national camp Northwestern is top ranked in the NAIA Poll and opened the season with a 48-35 win over Concordia of Nebraska.
