Sioux City, Iowa – Ellie Jacobson of Northwestern College has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Wednesday, Feb. 19th.
Jacobson earned Pitcher-of-the-Week honors in the GPAC. Jacobson, who is a senior from Humboldt, Iowa, had a pair of wins in the pitching circle, pitching 10 innings with 10 strikeouts and only one run allowed. She posted an ERA of 0.70, currently sitting third in the GPAC in ERA (0.71), third in strikeouts (25), and first in wins (5).
