Evan Kruger, 6’0” 215 lbs. Defensive Lineman from George-Little Rock High School in George Iowa, announced that he has accepted a scholarship offer and has committed to the Morningside University Football Program.
Evan played on the DL for the Lions. Evan was a 1st Team Iowa Print Sports Writers Association DL, 1st Team All District Player, and was selected unanimously Defensive Lineman of the Year in District 1. Kruger was also a Captain and helped lead the Lions to a State Championship in 2022. Kruger finished his career with 70 tackles, 45 assists tackles, 3 sacks, 4 TFL, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries. Evan is also involved in wrestling and track.
Evan excels in the classroom with a 3.76 GPA. He is projected as a defensive lineman for the Morningside University, and plans on majoring in Exercise Science.
Evan is the son of Jerry Kruger of George, Iowa and has 1 brother Hunter (George, IA).
