Football Broadcast Preview For Friday October 14th

It’s the final week of the regular season for 8 player football through Class 2A. For 3A and higher the regular season enters week 8. Our broadcast schedule features Sheldon hosting Unity in the regular season finale on KIWA AM 1550/FM 100.7. On KIWA FM 105.3 Boyden Hull Rock Valley is at MOC Floyd Valley.

Sheldon takes a 4-3 record (2-2) into the regular season finale at Orab Field. Unity comes in at 2-5 (2-2) in the district. Sheldon fell on the road to #2 Central Lyon George Little Rock while Unity dropped a home contest to West Lyon.

For the Orabs there are two prime objectives for this week.

A key concern for the Kights will be ball control on the part of Sheldon.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley is on the road for week 8 of the regular season. The Nighthawks are 2-5 (0-3) following a home loss to Sergeant Bluff Luton. MOC Floyd Valley improved to 5-2 (2-1) with a win at Carroll last week.
