Football Broadcast Preview for Friday September 27th

Northwest Iowa — The five week run of District games begin Friday night for Iowa high school football teams. Our broadcast coverage will feature Sheldon at MOC Floyd Valley and Boyden Hull Rock Valley at Central Lyon George Little Rock.

Sheldon opens the District schedule at MOC Floyd Valley. Both teams are coming off losses last Friday. The Orabs are 1-3 while the Dutch are 0-4.

The start of the District schedule is a time of new beginnings with non district games in the rear view mirror. Orab Head Coach Tyler Lloyd.

Lloyd adds this weeks game does have a different feel.

MOC Floyd Valley Head Coach Grant Hegstead is impressed with the Orabs growth from week to week.

The big key for the Dutch will be winning first down.

The Coach Kory Roos joins LA for the broadcast on FM 100.7 and AM 1550.

 

Boyden Hull Rock Valley is on the road at Central Lyon George Little Rock for their District opener. The Nighthawks and Lions are both 0-4 on the year.

The Lions multiple offense gets the attention of Nighthawks Head Coach Cory Brandt.

The biggest key for the Nighthawks taking the next step is discipline and consistency.

Lions Head Coach Curtis Eben on the tradition involved in this weeks match up.

Eben feels a win can come with four quarters of good football.

Jon and Justin Hellinga bring you season long coverage of Nighthawk football on KIWA FM 105.3. Pregame for both contests will begin at 6:05 with “The Water Boys ” pregame show. Opening kickoffs are set for 7:00 and both games will be streamed from the website at www.kiwaradio.com.
