Former B-H/RV Nighthawk signs extension with the Minnesota Vikings

Minneapolis, Minnesota – Former Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley football standout Andrew Van Ginkel has signed a one-year extension with the Minnesota Vikings.

According to multiple reports, the one-year extension is worth $23 million with $22.5 million garunteed.

Last season Van Ginkel had 11.5 sacks, 50 solo tackles and one forced fumble according to Pro Football Reference from his outside linebacker position. He also picked off future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers when the Vikings played the New York Jets last season.
