Sioux City, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports announced Tuesday, November 19, that a former West Lyon Wildcat earned basketball player-of-the-week honors for contests played December 11-17, 2023.
The player named was Emily TerWee. TerWee, a freshman from Larchwood, Iowa, picked up career-highs in both points and rebounds in Friday’s win over No. 13 Dakota State. She notched her first career double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds, and scored a career-high in points for the second straight game.
